What does that do to people?

It is controlling.
It leads people on the straight path to prison. Into the prison of one's own limited thoughts, into the prison of being thought, into the prison of classification and subordination. Because anyone who accepts limits - prohibitions on thinking and physical limits - gives up their freedom. That's why you're here to LIVE WITHOUT LIMITS.
There is only one limit for you here - yourself.
